This afternoon as I was sorting laundry in the basement, and Claire was swinging herself on the swings (yes we have swings in the basement), I had this little conversation with her.
Side note: Claire just learned how to pump her legs on the swing. A fact for which she is very excited about. Now she doesn't have to rely on mommy to push her
Oh Lord, increase my faith. And may it be as a child.

"Mom did you know that I asked God, 'God can you help me to learn to swing when I am 4?'"
"Oh really? Did He answer your prayer?"
"Yes He did!"
"That is so cool Claire, that God answered your prayer."
"Yep!"
There was just something about it
that simple childlike faith.
I am humbled.
and reminded of my need to take it all to Him.
Because He cares
and He answers.
Even requests about swings...
