We got quite a bit of snow on Friday, so that meant this weekend was all about snow. The kids spent quite a bit of time outdoors.
Making snow angles and building snowmen.

Peaking out the window at Claire.
James peaking out of the window at us.
Bill was gone all morning and afternoon at a men's conference so it was just me and the kiddos. It was a quiet sort of day.  Not too much got accomplished. I think I got one load of laundry folded and the breakfast and lunch dishes washed.

I had promised Anna I would teach her how to make friendship bracelets.  She is trying to earn money so that she can go ice skating. The only thing she could think to do was to make things and sell them.  So far she has sold everything she has made (knitted washcloth, potholder, and a couple of bracelets). We thought we would add a few new things to her little homemade "shop".
I know that these bracelets were popular when I was a kid but I don't remember actually ever making them.  I had to learn right along with her. I found a great tutorial online to guide us. It was pretty fun.  We both chose rainbow colors.  I can see these as being addictive to make. :)

Happy weekinging!
